Hi, I’m Rob Bowles — owner of Bowles Handyman Services out of Troy, Montana.

Bowles Handyman Services has been officially open for business for a year, but the truth is I’ve been fixing, building, and figuring things out around the house for the better part of 25 years. Before hanging out my shingle I spent a career in IT support with the federal government, and when I took early retirement I decided to turn a lifelong habit into something I could do for other people.

I take on smaller to medium sized projects — general repairs, laminate flooring installs, deck repairs and builds, and just about anything in between.

I’m also comfortable with computer repairs and cell phone issues, which isn’t something most handymen can say. That combination of carpentry, home maintenance, and IT background makes me a little bit of everything. I like to say I’m a jack of all trades and a master of none — and I’m perfectly okay with that.

I work mainly in Troy and Libby but I’ve headed west into Idaho and north up to the Yaak when the job calls for it. Every project is a little different and that’s exactly what I enjoy about it. I get to meet good people, solve real problems, and leave every job better than I found it.
